When in the Pacific Northwest…embrace the rain! We did our best to dodge the rain at this adorable family session at Wilkerson Farm in Gig Harbor.
When I scheduled this session I had no idea that I’d be bring a little secret of my own to the session. I had only found out three days prior that I was going to be having a baby of my own…so I approached each baby snuggle and sweet big brother moment with a sense of new-ness that I wouldn’t have otherwise imagined. I have loved watching Emily grow in her own photography and I was just so excited to meet her new little girl! After the rough and tumble of two little boys a momma is always happy to introduce a little pink into the house, right??

She was pretty much perfect for our One year cake smash! It gets me all kinds of nostalgic knowing that in a few short months our household will, yet again, be turned upside down with newborn life. And I know we will have our hard days and our amazing days…and every messy thing in between. There just seems to be so much living that a little one does in that first year.
OH ~ and also, huge shout out to Sweet Things by EH for another amazing cake (you better believe mom and I dug into that gem when Hannah had her fill!)
