My Dear Alexander,
I cannot even begin to explain what a blessing you are to our family.
My cousins, Alyssa & Chris have been trying to have children for countless years. You see three years ago, they lost their triplets, Nathan, Caleb & Joshua after 5 months of pregnancy. I had moved back home to Tacoma to live with them when the babies were to be born.
There has been both unspeakable pain, challenge and growth over those years. My heart ached to see them walk through this battlefield. So many hours of prayer and crying out to Jesus on their behalf all seemed to end in disappointment.
and to have you come now…opens up that part of my heart that has been holding out hope for Chris & Alyssa. This adoption has the Lords hands all over it ~ you are amazing, you are a gift and you are home.
So when I finally got to meet you on Friday I was so amazed to see Chris & Alyssa walk in their calling as parents for you. To see their eyes sparkle, even when they spoke of how tired they are learning how to parent an 11 month old…
and to see YOUR eyes sparkle knowing that you are loved beyond anything you might ever imagine.
you are home little Alexander, we have been waiting.
