Lavendar & Lace || Tacoma Film Photographer

I have been so excited to share this session with you ~ as I write this both Kietra & Clothilde are exploring France!  Kietra & I planned this session back in June when she was getting ready for Clothilde, an exchange student, to live with her for a month.   When Clothilde joined Kietra for July we went on a grand adventure to commemorate this huge summer for both of them.  A week after our shoot the two girls set off for an adventure in France!

As I was thinking about how to do a “French Inspired” session, all I could think of was macaroons, old books, cobblestone streets, cute lacy doilies, delicate flowers and lavender.  It all came together the day before the session as I walked the isles of our local craft store finding the little details that made me happy.  The morning of our session I was driving down the road and suddenly saw the perfect flowers that were just the thing to pull it all together. The girls and I stopped at a local bakery on the way out to our location…and purchased one of each flavor of macaroon (BTW ~ YUM!!).  I just adored working with both of these lovely ladies and hope they are having the grandest of grand adventures in France!

This adorable and dainty bracelet was brought from France, we thought it was a perfect detail for our session!
