Let’s Connect

I am located in Tacoma, Washington

The first step is often the hardest, let’s connect and I’d love to talk you through your booking from start to finish. You can start right here by telling me a little about what kind of session experience you are hoping for and I’ll reach out by phone or email within 48 hours.

If you have questions, you can always give me a call. I’d love to talk!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • First and foremost, wear something that you are comfortable in! No one likes fussing over their clothes at a photoshoot. I usually recommend finding an outfit you love and then building the rest of your family off of that look. Choose colors that complement each other rather than having everyone wear the same color, that way each of your personalities can come through. If you want more information you can find it in my “Preparing for your Best Session” guide.

  • I do offer mini-sessions a couple of times a year! I have Window Seat sessions that are usually held in the Winter or Spring - these are great sessions to help document your kiddos growing up. I also offer a couple of days of mini-sessions in various locations in the Pacific Northwest in the Fall. To find out when those are offered you can sign up for my email newsletter or follow me on social media.

  • I have two of my own kids, they are boys, and they are their own brand of a three-ring circus. So I’m used to the energy that kids can bring and it probably phases parents who want a “perfect” session more than it phases me. What I’ve found is that kids are more cooperative at the beginning of our sessions! My goal is to get photos of everyone “looking and smiling” within the first 5 minutes. Then we can let our guard down and enjoy our time a little more since the hard work is already done!

  • I love to work with clients to help them find the perfect location for their session. I can help narrow down what look and background might be meaningful for your session and give suggestions based on that. Growing up in Tacoma has some absolute perks knowing this city and the surrounding area’s like the back of my hand!

If on-location isn’t something that appeals to you we can talk about what an in-home session would look like for your family. Capturing the personality and love in your own home is an amazing way to frame your family session!

  • Our common practice these days is to get the link for download however I encourage my clients to get prints made of their photos! It feels so good to see your lovely faces up on your walls, doesn’t it?

If you’d like some recommendations on what to do for print products you can visit my page exploring after your session options.
