Occasionally, sessions in the Pacific Northwest can be affected by fog or smoke, causing some client concerns about the impact on their photography. Despite potential weather challenges, I love to embrace the unique, soft, diffused look created by the conditions, especially when the sun illuminates clients in a dreamy way above low clouds. In the case of the Stevens family's Thanksgiving session, they braved the cold weather, resulting in a picturesque and memorable experience along the Tacoma Waterfront.

Picking the best time of day for your family photos is really important, but not as important as making the schedule work for your littles for you to have a great session! This session was in the mid-day sun and we had a blast snuggling and getting our toes in the sand at Dickman Mill Park.
